Meet Our Online Manager

 Lewy Pierson is our Online Sales Manager, with over 20 years of IT experience and online sales. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and has almost his completed Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. He has worked in many areas of counseling, including alcohol and drug rehabilitation, developmental disability centers, and with Alzheimer’s and dementia.  Lewy was born with a rare form of dwarfism called diastrophic dysplasia (DD), which resulted in many orthopedic issues as well as degeneration of cartilage and ligaments throughout the body. This form of dwarfism results in extremely short stature. He is now 40 years old,  stands 3 feet tall and weighs 55 lbs. By the age of 12, Lewy had undergone nearly 30 major operations. Despite the challenges, Lewy has been able to adapt his world around him. He drives and lives alone in a house he built with his own hands. He really enjoys doing engineering and construction projects.  It goes without saying, that despite Lewy’s many abilities and successes, that he has struggled with severe pain throughout his life. Individuals with diastrophic dysplasia(DD) have a very unique metabolism rates and this can result in severe complications with sedation and medication, both during and after surgeries or medical procedures.  Due to personal experience and knowing several friends with DD who have passed away due to these complications, Lewy does not use prescribed medications for pain. He is a living testament to the benefits of CBD, as it is what keeps him moving. As he states, “In a time when we have such an opioid  crisis, I’m very thankful for such an affective alternative. I want everyone with pain to try it because I’m a living example of how it can save a life and add so much quality in the process!”.
